Event Operations Manager- Live Events & Greenfield Location: Crick Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) About The Company Our client is a specialist solutions provider to the events, venues, and stadia sector. They deliver a wide range of services across technology, logistics, operations, and consultancy, working with some of the UK's most prestigious live events and major festivals. Due to continued growth and an exciting pipeline of new projects for 2025, they are expanding their operations team and seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to help deliver world-class event operations. About The Role The Event Operations Manager will take responsibility for planning and delivering multiple live event operations across the UK. You'll oversee project planning, site delivery, team leadership, and client management — ensuring each event runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires strong operational leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts under pressure. Key Responsibilities • Lead the operational planning and onsite delivery of large-scale events across the UK., • Delegate and oversee event preparation, logistics, and on-site setup., • Manage and support a team of operations staff, ensuring effective training, mentoring, and onboarding., • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure each project meets delivery standards and client expectations., • Prepare and manage event budgets and operational documentation (RAMS, schedules, resource plans)., • Maintain a high level of safety compliance and operational excellence across all sites., • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify efficiencies and improvements., • Support the wider management team with operational planning, resource allocation, and process development. About You • Proven experience in event or site operations, ideally within the live events, festivals, or exhibitions sector., • Strong leadership and delegation skills — able to manage large teams and multiple projects simultaneously., • Hands-on, proactive, and calm under pressure with strong problem-solving ability., • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a focus on collaboration and accountability., • A confident decision-maker who can balance client needs with operational efficiency., • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to event sites as required., • Comfortable working outdoors and available for evening/weekend work during busy event periods.
