Our multidisciplinary teams work across a wide range of specialties, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, family therapy, and neurodevelopmental conditions. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Child & Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at TRC on a part-time basis (1 day per week) at our Central London clinic. This is an on-site role focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of ADHD, ASD, and associated mental health conditions in children and adolescents. You will work collaboratively with clinicians across TRC, supported by a large and experienced administrative team, allowing you to focus on high-quality clinical care. The role involves close liaison with families, schools, GPs, and other professionals, ensuring a joined-up and patient-centred approach. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and neurodevelopmental assessments, including ADHD and ASD assessments, for children and adolescents, • Diagnose ADHD, ASD, and comorbid mental health conditions in line with UK clinical guidelines and best practice, • Develop and oversee individualised treatment plans, including medication management, psychoeducation, and onward referrals where appropriate, • Provide ongoing medication reviews and follow-up appointments, monitoring effectiveness and side effects, • Work closely within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychologists, psychotherapists, nutritionists, coaches and other clinicians at TRC, • Liaise with GPs, schools, local authorities, and external professionals to support integrated care and reasonable adjustments, • Contribute to risk assessment, safeguarding, and crisis management where required, • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation with administrative support from TRC’s dedicated team Essential Requirements • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent), • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise, • On the Specialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (CCT or equivalent), • Demonstrated experience working within CAMHS or equivalent settings, • Significant experience assessing and managing ADHD and ASD in children and adolescents, • Strong understanding of UK neurodevelopmental pathways, comorbid presentations, safeguarding, and multi-agency working, • Confident, compassionate communicator with children, young people, and families, • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative MDT What We Offer: • Part-time role: 1 day per week, • Central London on-site clinic, • Collaborative MDT environment with experienced clinicians, • Extensive administrative and operational support, reducing non-clinical workload, • Flexible, supportive working culture, • Competitive pay, dependent on experience Equal Opportunity Statement: TRC is an equal opportunity employer.
