You could have a contract management or maybe even a legal background, within local government or the public sector. You will ideally have knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures and systems as well as relevant legislation and regulations. Highly organised and analytical, with good IT skills, you ’ ll be ready to meet demanding targets, timescales and budgets. You also have good communication and negotiating skills.
