Group QHSE Technical Manager Location: Remote – Occasional Travel to London / Kent office as required (Potential for International Travel) Reporting to: Chief Governance Officer Salary: DOE We’re looking for an experienced and detail‑driven Group QHSE Technical Manager to take technical ownership of our QHSE schemes across the Amtivo Group. This is a key role within our Governance function, ensuring our certification schemes are robust, compliant, and aligned with accreditation requirements across global markets. You’ll lead the development of scheme policies, procedures, guidance and controls, ensuring our standards are clearly defined, consistently applied, and continuously improved. Working closely with internal teams, accreditation bodies and industry stakeholders, you’ll play a central role in maintaining our accreditations, supporting audits, and driving technical excellence across the business. What you’ll be doing Technical Leadership & Scheme Ownership • Own and maintain scheme‑specific management system documentation, policies and procedures., • Monitor industry standards and lead transition planning for relevant scheme updates., • Provide technical guidance to compliance teams, auditors and certification bodies across the Group., • Support planning and delivery of accreditation body audits and scheme owner assessments., • Contribute to the external witnessed audit programme and ensure findings are effectively closed out., • Support internal audit planning to ensure full coverage of business and regulatory requirements., • Maintain strong communication channels with global stakeholders, ensuring alignment on scheme developments., • Act as technical liaison with Sales to support sector strategies and commercial opportunities., • Support change management processes, ensuring effective consultation and communication., • Lead or support sector‑specific training development., • Support the investigation and resolution of scheme‑related complaints., • Identify opportunities to improve scheme efficiency, documentation and technical controls. What success looks like • Strong support for internal and external audit programmes., • Effective management of witness assessments and accreditation requirements., • Clear, consistent communication of technical changes across the Group., • Well‑maintained and efficient scheme documentation., • Timely delivery of transitions and scope extensions., • Continued maintenance of global accreditations. What you’ll bring • A background in operational compliance with strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements., • Recognised qualifications relevant to QHSE schemes (internal or external)., • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach., • Strong analytical and reporting skills., • Confident stakeholder management and the ability to work across teams and geographies., • A collaborative, proactive and resilient mindset, with the ability to inspire confidence and model best practice.
