What We Offer Our SEN / SEND Tutors:\n\n • Flexible Hours: Choose part-time or full-time hours that fit your schedule.\n, • Remote Opportunities: Enjoy occasional online teaching assignments from the comfort of your home.\n, • Professional Development: Access extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including the full Tes CPD suite.\n, • Supportive Team: Work alongside a dedicated SEN / SEND Support Team to ensure every placement is a success.\n, • Community Connection: Join our tutor community to share best practices, resources, and tips.\n, • Impactful Work: Be part of a child-centered organization committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.\nYour Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:\n\n, • Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.\n, • Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.\n, • Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to each learner's needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n, • Plan and prepare each tutoring session to ensure it meets the unique needs of the student.\n, • Deliver engaging and holistic sessions that advance both educational and social-emotional development.\n, • Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n, • Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).\n, • Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, particularly with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs.\n, • Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding processes is essential.\n, • DBS Check: Enhanced DBS required (we can assist with this).\n, • References: Two professional references needed.\n, • Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.\n\n It’s crucial that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
