You will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, hybrid working being office based at one of the above locations a minimum of 2 days a week. \n\nThe Team\n\nCollateral Management Operations Team, responsible for the daily, processing, agreement and settlement of margin calls to mitigate the organisations credit risk exposure. On an average day the team will process c. 1,000 margin calls with an average combined monthly settlement value of c £14bn\n\nThe Role\n\nTo provide specialist technical, analytical and transaction management support to key stake holders and business partners\nDispute Management, including Regulatory reporting.\nOwnership of collateral, supporting and coordinating with MO teams involved in the end-to-end collateral journey to ensure seamless delivery for our clients.\nAct as central point of contact for collateral ensuring queries are dealt with on a timely basis.\nIdentify and deliver Continuous Improvement opportunities to increase efficiency of processes, and reduce risk\nTrusted partner for counterparties and internal and external stakeholders \n\nAccountabilities:\n\nTechnical knowledge of the post trade landscape, with comprehensive knowledge of collateral management and settlement activity\nResponsible for enabling daily exchange of collateral (Cash or Securities) to reduce credit risk associated with Markets Trading activity.\nManagement of collateral disputes process\nCoordination of collateral activity across internal departments including Onboarding, Risk, Operations and Finance.\nAnalyse issues to identify best solution, driving solution through to completion.\nProvides advice on designing new processes and systems including supporting new product requests.\nSupport Group audit activity, including balance sheet substantiation.\nSupport and coach colleagues supporting the end to end collateral journey\nAssist collateral response to Group incidents, including extraction and provision of MI to support wider Group response.\nEnsure compliance with Group policy, procedures and guidelines, quality standards and all regulatory and statutory requirements. \n\nKey Capabilities/ Knowledge:\n\nComprehensive understanding of collateral management lifecycle ideally gained in a banking environment.\nIn depth understanding of legal agreements underpinning the Collateral product\nExperience in the use of collatoral systems eg Murex, Colline, Acadia\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAn understanding of market products eg Derivatives, FX, RepoPlease apply with an up-to-date CV which must show evidence of the above to be considered.
