Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, Gas Safe registered Heating Engineer to join us on a subcontract basis. This role is suited to a competent, confident engineer who takes pride in their work and operates to a high professional standard. Key Responsibilities • Installation, servicing and repair of domestic boilers and heating systems, • Full central heating system installations, • Advanced fault-finding and diagnostics, • Working with radiators, pipework and system upgrades, • Plumbing work associated with heating systems, • Carrying out bespoke pipework and modifications where required, • Conducting thorough inspections to identify and resolve issues correctly, • Ensuring all work complies fully with Gas Safe and current regulations, • Safe operation of tools and specialist equipment, • Accurate job documentation and reporting, • Maintaining clean, organised and professional work areas, • Adhering strictly to health & safety procedures and PPE requirements Essential Requirements • Current Gas Safe Registration (essential – no exceptions), • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in domestic heating systems, • Proven experience carrying out full installations independently, • Strong fault-diagnostic ability (not just part-swapping), • Solid plumbing competency, • Strong understanding of current building regulations and compliance standards, • Ability to interpret technical specifications and manufacturer instructions, • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship, • Professional communication skills with customers, • Ability to work independently without supervision, • Full UK driving licence, • Own suitable, professional vehicle LPG qualifications are highly desirable but not essential. LPG-certified engineers are encouraged to apply.
