About the role As an Information Systems Specialist, you will design, develop, configure and support complex applications used to deliver essential Council services. You will translate service, legislative and operational requirements into effective system solutions, including workflows, forms, integrations, reports and access controls. This is a senior technical role involving independent judgement and responsibility for resolving complex incidents, implementing upgrades and system changes, protecting sensitive information, and ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and fit for purpose. You will work closely with service teams, ICT colleagues and suppliers, providing specialist advice and influencing how technology supports service delivery.
