This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled driver who is available for an immediate start and is comfortable working night shifts. Weekend availability is a MUST, Full clean UK Driving License necessary. Shift patterns: Saturday and Sunday (scope to add more days after you have joined if interested) Rough shift timings are as folllows: 6.30am - 9.30am 3pm - 7.30pm £135 a day pay You will be expected to have fantastic time keeping skills as the whole operation rely's on the driver arriving and delivering on time. You will arrive in the morning to the Prep Unit in Woolwich SE18 and load the van with all food required for the day. Sometimes you will be doing multiple drops in the morning and multiple collections in the afternoon. You will drive to the location specified, usually around 30minutes-1hour drive, here you will be met by another colleague where you will both unload and set up the gazebo and market pitch together. At 9.30am you will leave and return to collect the items again at roughly 3pm. The afternoon shift is the same as the morning but obviously in reverse and you will finish your shift at around 7.30pm at the prep unit in Woolwich SE18.

My father has dementia but he is mobile and already has carers in the daytime. We are looking for someone who can “sit” with him during bedtime hours to keep an eye on our father during the night, if he gets up to use the toilet. This varies day to day. Sometimes he doesn’t get up at all. Other times it’s 2-3 times. The person will need to escort him into the bathroom and stand by the door to ensure he does not get dizzy. You will then need to escort him back to bed. My father is able to clean himself and wash his hands. If he’s hungry or thirsty he may ask for Tea and a snack. You can help him make this and then settle him back to bed. There will be an alarm set up in his bedroom which will wake you up if he gets up from the bed. This position is suitable for a mature carer or mature student who needs extra pocket money and is perhaps busy in the daytime at a care agency or at university.
