Business Development Manager – Water Hygiene / Water Treatment\n\n£50,000 – £55,000 + commission + car/car allowance\n\nBirmingham, West Midlands | Hybrid | UK-wide travel\n\nAn established compliance-led business within the Water Hygiene and Water Treatment sector is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK.\n\nThis role focuses on selling Water Hygiene, Water Treatment and Legionella Control services into commercial, healthcare and industrial markets, while also developing existing accounts.\n\nThis is a genuine opportunity to build new relationships, win contracts and take ownership of your territory, supported by an experienced technical and operational team who deliver what you sell.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Winning new business across Water Hygiene and Water Treatment services\n\n * \n\n Developing and expanding existing accounts\n\n * \n\n Leading discussions around compliance, risk and service delivery\n\n * \n\n Producing tailored proposals aligned with ACoP L8 and HSG 274\n\n * \n\n Negotiating commercial terms and securing service agreements\n\n * \n\n Managing a structured sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to contract award\n\n * \n\n Working closely with operational and technical teams to ensure contracts are commercially viable and deliverable\n\nThis is a hybrid position with UK-wide travel depending on client requirements.\n\nTo be considered, you will have:\n\n * \n\n A proven background in Water Hygiene, Water Treatment or Legionella compliance sales\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks within the sector\n\n * \n\n Experience selling compliance-led or technical services\n\n * \n\n A consistent track record of achieving revenue targets\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally\n\nIn return, you will receive:\n\n * \n\n £50,000–£55,000 + commission (circa £80k OTE)\n\n * \n\n Company vehicle or car allowance\n\n * \n\n Attractive benefits package and clear progression as the division continues to scale.\n\n * \n\n The backing of an established technical delivery function with national contracts in place\n\n * \n\n Real autonomy to shape your territory and impact revenue\n\nThis will suit someone commercially sharp, confident in the Water Hygiene market and motivated by growth and earning potential.\n\nTo arrange a confidential conversation about the role, please contact Angelina at Golden Fox Recruitment.\n\nCommutable locations: Birmingham, West Midlands, Solihull, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell, West Bromwich, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Worcester, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Rugby, Hinckley, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Burton upon Trent, Stafford, Telford, Shrewsbury, Stoke-on-Trent, Northampton, Market Harborough, Kettering, Loughborough
