As Therapeutic Area Head for Psychiatry & Neuroscience, you will sit at the heart of our Medical Leadership Team, driving strategy and influencing outcomes. Your core responsibilities include: • Developing and executing a comprehensive medical strategy across the full asset lifecycle, with a focus on early engagement and pre‑launch excellence., • Leading evidence generation strategies—including real‑world evidence and digital approaches—to build compelling, credible data stories for HTA and regulatory submissions., • Collaborating proactively with NHS England, NICE, mental health and neuroscience policy bodies, and national transformation programmes to anticipate change and position medical affairs as a strategic partner., • Building and nurturing partnerships with key opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, academic centres, and healthcare system leaders to co‑create solutions that improve patient pathways., • Serving as the bridge between Medical, Commercial, Market Access, and the broader matrix, ensuring integrated strategies are built on scientific credibility and commercial clarity. You are a medical professional—most likely a registered physician or UK‑registered pharmacist—with an advanced scientific degree and substantial Medical Affairs experience, ideally in Psychiatry, Neuroscience, Neurology, or a closely related field. You have worked in a large market, understand the full product lifecycle, and have experience with HTA, pre‑launch planning, and evidence generation. Ideal candidates have held final signatory responsibility and possess a working knowledge of the ABPI Code. • Belief in the strategic value of Medical Affairs and a desire to prove it at scale., • Leadership driven by purpose, combining personal accountability with a passion for patient outcomes., • Adept at navigating complexity, translating scientific nuance—including CNS drug development challenges—into actionable strategy., • Ability to inspire through coaching, inclusion, and trust rather than direct instruction., • Forward‑thinking orientation, staying ahead of system change, policy shifts, and the evolving landscape of Psychiatry & Neuroscience.
