Job Summary: We are looking for a driven Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of a specialist product portfolio, including Aseptic Compounding, Oncology, Enteral Feeding, and In-Line Disc Filters. You will act as the voice of the customer, turning clinical needs and market insights into product solutions and marketing strategies that support growth and meet regulatory standards. The role involves close collaboration with healthcare professionals, distributors, and internal teams such as Sales, NPD, and Leadership. Based at Helapet’s Head Office in Houghton Regis, the role requires regular field visits (approx. two days per week) to engage with customers and key stakeholders. Benefits: • Company Car/Car Allowance, • Contributory Pension Scheme (5% employer contribution, increasing to 10% with length of service), • Medical Cash Back Plan (Simply Health), • Life Assurance (4 x Annual Gross), • Annual Performance Bonus, • Annual Pay Review, • Cycle to Work Scheme, • Employee Referral Scheme, • Discounts on Selected Products and Services, • Employee Assistance Programme – Health, • 25 annual holiday days, plus 8 bank holidays and one company day, • Additional Holiday purchase scheme (purchase up to an additional 3-days per holiday year) Job Responsibilities: • Lead the development and execution of product strategies aligned with overall company objectives., • Define and monitor clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team to drive sales growth., • Champion a data-driven approach, using analytics, user feedback, and market insights to shape the product roadmap., • Identify and implement tactical initiatives to achieve business goals., • Influence and align internal stakeholders with product and marketing strategies., • Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to launch, including post-market support and surveillance., • Develop and execute promotional campaigns across the full marketing mix for Helapet’s product and service portfolio., • Measure and report on campaign effectiveness, demonstrating ROI and providing evidence-based feedback to stakeholders., • Identify and act on market opportunities and competitive threats., • Recognise gaps in existing products or services and proactively source or recommend solutions., • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across relevant markets., • Generate and validate new product ideas through customer interactions, industry events, and collaboration with the Sales team., • Establish a Helapet KOL panel and organise Advisory Boards to inform product development and campaign strategies., • Lead or support New Product Development (NPD) projects through the stage-gate process., • Plan, promote, and manage the launch of new products., • Organise and attend all UK-based exhibitions, promoting current products and identifying new market opportunities., • Conduct customer interviews to validate new opportunities., • Work with NPD to maintain a product pipeline aligned with strategic goals and customer needs., • Oversee Post-Market Surveillance and work closely with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure ongoing compliance., • Bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, using data and insights to support new ideas and process improvements. Personal Specifications: Essential: • Degree-level education in Life Sciences or Healthcare, • Proven experience in Sales and/or Marketing of Medical Devices., • Strong background in Product Management, including full lifecycle involvement from concept through to commercial launch., • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining product roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives., • Track record of successful product launches and consistent high performance., • Experience conducting market research, competitor analysis, and developing business cases for new medical devices., • Regular engagement with clinical teams, internal sales teams, and end users to inform product direction., • Direct customer interaction, including one-on-one meetings with clinicians, to gather insights and feedback., • Experience collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to shape product strategy and execution Desirable: • Professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing., • Specific experience in Aseptic Compounding or Oncology is highly beneficial., • Experience working closely with KOLs in the Aseptic or Oncology space., • Proven success in managing medical device products from initial concept through to market launch.
