This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer who enjoys working across multiple sites and disciplines to help make a tangible impact on a major healthcare development in the region. What you'll do Ensure legal compliance through planned preventative maintenance and reactive works across site The provision of Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital Provide competent Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support & assistance Escalate and manage reactive calls that require specialist attention, coordinating with external contractors to resolve more complex issues. Ensure site safety and operational efficiency by adhering to Health & Safety regulations and proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks. Effectively manage the permit to work system to oversee high-risk activities on site. Support compulsory audits and assessments such as Legionella, Fire Safety, and Health & Safety compliance. Review fault logs and allocate appropriate resources to each task within area of responsibility What you'll bring with you City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills UnderstandingofLegionellapreventionrequirements within hospital buildings Demonstrated high leveloforganisation&time management skills, particularly in an environment with multiple, and sometimes conflicting priorities Sound fault finding techniques ?
