We are looking for a passionate Breakfast Supervisor at UBA restaurant in Hotel Hart Shoreditch . As a Breakfast Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the breakfast and lunch operations in our UBA restaurant, through adequate planning and organising. This role will be responsible for supervision of staff and the handling of guest enquiries / concerns. Checking that the requisitions have been picked up, the side duties and cleaning procedures completed.  Passing on duties within the working team on the day to day, by splitting them up between staff. To assist the F&B Manager/Restaurant Manager to regularly monitor service standards through service audits and addressing shortfalls to ensure standards are consistently being followed. To adhere to all SOPs to ensure consistency in Service, Presentation, Cleanliness, Health and Safety compliance, and Food Safety compliance. To ensure that a suitable number of the F&B staff are on duty on all shifts by checking breakfast forecasts and house counts.

The role The role sits in the finance team, reporting into the Finance Director, and responsible for the group reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. What you’ll do… ● Responsible for managing the monthly and annual consolidation process for The Hoxton & Gleneagles groups to ensure key information is provided to our internal and external stakeholders in accordance with agreed timetables. ● Manage the annual audit for the Group, including preparation of the statutory accounts and dealing with the group auditors ● Responsible for maintaining various group related deliverables including but not limited to Acquisitions, Disposals, consolidation, Fair valuation, cash flow etc ● Contribute to the ongoing process of improving the quality of key information to internal and external stakeholders. ● Leading implementation & ongoing maintenance of new accounting systems. ● Prepare briefing papers on commercial and accounting issues. ● Responsible for day-to-day accounting & audit of Parent/ Holding Company ● Management of Group Reporting Accountant. ● Ad hoc project work, as per need What we’re looking for… ● Minimum 4 to 5+ years Qualified ACA or ACCA ● Previous experience with global, multi-currency consolidations in line with UK GAAP/IFRS; you’ve been involved in delivering group monthly, quarterly and annual management and statutory financial reporting and an external audit process ● Technical proficiency in UK GAAP (FRS 102) ● Experience of managing relationships and working closely with other accounting departments ● Strong Excel Skills ● Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and get the job done ● Continuous learner always looking to improve on the status quo ● Competent communicator of financial information to non-finance persons What’s in it for you… ● Competitive salary and bonus ● 22 days holiday (and bank holidays) ● Private medical insurance and life assurance ● Opportunities to develop and grow in a fast-paced work environment ● Pay Day Lunch

As a Night receptionist, your nights will include anything from managing reservations, taking payments, check-in & out guests, handling enquiries and complaints, patrolling and security walks, responding to Guest reviews, to cleaning our social areas and assisting the management team with the daily reporting and breakfast setup What skill you need: Checking guests in and out Are hardworking and enthusiastic Responding to guest queries via e-mail, telephone or in-person Processing payments Offer guests great customer service Night auditing Ensuring the hotel and its guests are secure through the night Efficient transfer of information to staff members on the morning shift Who we are looking for: Fluent spoken/written English (other languages are a bonus) Competent level of IT proficiency Ability to work on your own and as part of a team Friendly but professional work ethic Flexible availability Able to take initiative and remain calm under pressure Organised, helpful and friendly individual Previous experience in a similar role within a hostel, solo customer-facing roles, or a hospitality background is highly preferred.
