Were looking for a motivated Engineer Apprentice to join our Engineering Team in West Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity to gain handson experience while working towards a Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship, supported by experienced engineers and structured training. Ab out the Role As an Engineering Apprentice, you will support the Engineering Team by carrying out planned and preventative maintenance activities, as well as responding to machine breakdowns, applying the skills and knowledge developed throughout the apprenticeship programme under appropriate supervision. What Youll Be Doing • Carry out planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities in line with site schedules, risk assessments, and training requirements., • Support fault diagnosis, breakdown response, and corrective maintenance activities on plant, equipment, and machinery under supervision., • Apply conditionbased, timebased, and riskbased maintenance techniques as competency develops., • Use appropriate tools, equipment, and diagnostic methods safely and correctly., • Work safely at all times, complying with all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures., • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, including problem solving, rootcause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives., • Work closely with internal engineering mentors and external training providers to complete all onthejob and offthejob training requirements. Essential: • Basic understanding of engineering principles, • Ability to follow instructions and work safely, • Good numeracy, literacy, and problemsolving skills, • Willingness to learn and develop new skills, • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English at Grade 4/C or above (or commitment to achieve) Safety Loyalty Integrity Respect A proactive mindset, strong teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement.
