You will play an important role in ensuring refurbishment projects are delivered to the highest standards of design integrity and compliance. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: • Providing guidance and support relating to design & compliance during procurement stages and construction stages of refurbishment projects across the business., • Coordinate architects, engineers, retrofit coordinators and other specialists to ensure refurbishment designs meet legislative requirements as well as client and contractual requirements., • Ensuring all aspects of design and compliance adhere to regulatory frameworks including the Building Safety Act and Gateway requirements., • Lead on Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 submissions, • Ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 across all refurbishment projects, embedding the PAS 2035 requirements into each project in order to mitigate risk., • During the construction phases, you will be responsible for attending pre-start meetings to ensure compliance and develop risk mitigation strategies., • Assist with design dispute resolution if required You should also have experience of working within Retrofit, Listed Building and High Rise refurbishment projects and understand the complex nature of these types of projects.
