TPF Recruitment are working on behalf of a friendly, relaxed independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Winchester, who are looking to appoint a part-time Accounts Senior or Client Manager to join their growing team. This is a part-time role (3-4 days per week), offering flexibility and an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied client portfolio within a supportive, personable practice environment. The Role Working closely with the Partners, you will operate in a broad general practice role, covering accounts, tax and client management responsibilities. Key duties will include: Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage Managing a portfolio of OMB/SME clients Personal and corporate tax compliance, including VAT returns Overseeing bookkeeping work using cloud-based software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice environment ACA, ACCA, AAT qualified, or qualified by experience with a minimum of 5 years’ practice experience Strong hands-on experience across accounts, tax and VAT Confident managing client relationships and juggling multiple deadlines Approachable, team-oriented mindset suited to a smaller, friendly firm Benefits £40,000-£52,000 FTE, dependent on experience (pro rata for part-time hours) Flexible working pattern (3–4 days per week).
