Plan efficient routes to beat traffic bottlenecks across the East London corridor, prioritising early delivery to maintain slump consistency and product viability. 2. Batching Plant & Loading Report to the assigned batching plant (Silvertown, Belvedere, or Rainham) for a 06:00 AM start. Position the vehicle accurately under the batching plant hopper for loading. Manage drum rotation speeds to keep perishable concrete active and prevent premature setting during transit. 3. Site Discharge & Customer Interface Conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at customer sites (commercial developments, highway maintenance, or domestic builds). Manoeuvre the vehicle into precise discharge positions as directed by site agents or pump operators. Assemble, attach, and clean discharge chutes (or position swivel chutes) safely. Operate rear mixer controls to discharge concrete at the required flow rate. Collect customer sign-offs, Proof of Delivery, and log any slump adjustments or delays caused by site readiness. 4. Vehicle Hygiene & Maintenance Washout Procedure (Critical): Perform thorough, mandatory drum washouts immediately after discharging every load to prevent concrete hardening inside the drum, chutes, and hopper.
