As you will be working for a small friendly team in a small business you will need to be adaptable to carry out varied tasks including; - Assisting with kitchen installation in customer's homes - Delivering kitchens and materials to homes - Managing the storage area and lockup, including opening and checking deliveries - Transferring kitchen waste to recycling centre - Carrying out odd-jobs and minor remedials tasks - Tidying kitchens, the store/showroom, and company vehicles Required skills: - 1-year experience or qualification in Plumbing and/or Tiling and/or Carpentry and/or Electrics and/or Decorating - Polite, courteous and professional - Full Driving Licence - Good communication skills, fluent in English About the Role: - Full-time weekdays with a 07:15 start - Based from the kitchen showroom in Croydon - No vehicle needed, you will use a company van during working hours - £24,000 to £30,000 PAYE dependent on experience in Plumbing, Tiling, Carpentry, Electrics, Decorating - 28 Days Paid Holiday including bank holidays - Paid training will be provided in the above disciplines as required, and pay will be reviewed each 6 months
Daily deliveries to our Central London clients. Start about 7-8am and assume finishing 3-4pm. Weekly rota supplied and plenty of over time available. Must be fit and healthy as this can be demanding work. Our vehicles range from small, to medium and large refrigerated van. Easy to drive and fully insured.
