A high-performing, award-winning agency is entering an exciting phase of growth and looking for a Digital Performance Director to take ownership of its performance offering. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, delivery and growth, ideal for someone who wants real influence, not just oversight. The Digital Performance Director will be working across a portfolio of well-known consumer brands, with the opportunity to shape how performance is defined, delivered and scaled within a modern, integrated agency. You’ll lead digital performance from the front, setting direction while remaining close enough to execution to ensure quality and results don’t drift. Alongside owning key client relationships, you’ll contribute to new business, pitching and growth strategy, ensuring performance thinking is embedded in how the agency wins work. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a purely strategic one. Role Responsibilities... Performance Direction • Shape and lead cross-channel performance strategy (Search, Paid Social, YouTube), • Ensure activity is tied directly to commercial outcomes such as revenue, • Stay actively involved in campaign setup, optimisation and troubleshooting, • Manage budget allocation and bidding approaches across platforms, • Oversee measurement frameworks including GA4, tagging and attribution, • Ensure reporting focuses on business impact, not just platform metrics, • Own senior stakeholder relationships from a performance perspective, • Lead conversations with clarity and confidence, backed by data, • Introduce structure, processes and best practices across performance, • Support the growth of the team through freelancers and future hires, • Play an active role in pitches and commercial opportunities, • Develop performance-led narratives and forecasts, • Keep pace with platform changes, AI and automation, • Apply new tools and approaches where they add real value What We Are Looking For... • A proven leader in digital performance within an agency environment, • Strong channel expertise across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and programmatic, • Comfortable managing and optimising significant monthly budgets, • Deep understanding of GA4, GTM and attribution principles, • Commercially minded, able to connect performance activity to business growth, • Confident communicator, experienced in working with senior stakeholders, • Someone who enjoys building, improving and scaling, not just maintaining This is an exciting opportunity where you can shape performance strategy, influence agency direction, and stay close to the work that drives real results, within a business that values both creativity and commercial impact.
