Helping load and unload trucks, setting up our main Bowls Club venue each week, and then helping with the breakdown. You will also be on standby while the event is running to assist with various tasks behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. BAR STAFF/BAR BACKS These roles are on event days. We are a long-established local pizzeria near Wimbledon (SW19 3NT), mainly operating a well-regarded takeaway/delivery service as well as a small restaurant. We are looking for a second pizza chef to support the senior chef. Ideally you have experience making dough, stretching and baking in a wood-fired oven. We will train you in our methods and you will be able to learn new skills in a short period of time. You will be expected to be able to work independently when the senior pizza chef is off. You will also learn a small menu of easy starters and salads, as well as helping the senior pizza chef with preparations and keeping the kitchens tidy during and at the end of the service. This job requires 1) a strong desire to learn and improve your skills, 2) flexibility, 3) good work ethic and 4) being a team player. The job is 4 evenings per week, from mid-afternoon until close, for a total of 26 hours, ideal if you have a morning job or family/study/personal commitments during the day. Pay starting range is £14-£15.50/hr, based on experience, with a pay review after successful completion of the probationary period (3 months).
