About the Role: The B2B Senior Business Development Manager – EV Solutions will own business development across HUMAX’s defined B2B territories, focusing on segments such as: • Automotive OEMs and dealer groups, • Fleet and corporate fleets, • Leasing, rental and salary-sacrifice providers Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, this role is responsible for building a high-quality pipeline, securing strategic partnerships and converting opportunities into long-term programmes using HUMAX’s EV charger portfolio (e.g. MX7 home/reimbursement, MX22 depot/workplace). The ideal candidate combines strong B2B hunting skills with the ability to work closely with technical, product and software integration teams – acting as a central interface between customers, partners and HUMAX’s internal organisation. Key Responsibilities: • B2B Business development & Deal Execution, • Define and execute Humax’s go-to-market strategy for the UK to win major charging partnerships with leading automotive partners such as OEMs and dealer groups, Fleet, Fleet manager, BVRLA brokers and rental & leasing companies., • Identify, build, and nurture strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders — including eMSP platforms, major installer/contractor and technology partners — to strengthen Humax’s market position and ecosystem presence, • Continuously explore new partnership opportunities that expand Humax’s ecosystem and accelerate adoption in B2B markets, • Manage full business cycle from prospecting, proposal, negotiation, and contracting, delivering through to seamless partner onboarding and account activation, • Contribute insight from B2B customers into HUMAX’s product roadmap and Go-To-Market priorities., • KPI Management, • Manage pipeline & CRM, annual forecasts, reports to track reliable sales volume ensuring that all B2B initiatives achieve agreed commercial and operational objectives., • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure partner onboarding is seamless, • Deliver training and coaching to automotive partner with guidance on Humax’s solutions, ensuring smooth onboarding, launch and ongoing account development., • Market & Competitor Insight, • Provide strategic direction by analysing market dynamics, emerging technologies, and competitive developments within the UK EV charging and energy ecosystem., • Continuously assess government policy trends, industry regulations, and funding programs to anticipate future opportunities and risks., • Translate these insights into long-term business vision, product roadmap guidance, and go-to-market priorities that position Humax as a leading and trusted EV charging brand in the UK., • Lead internal alignment across teams by communicating clear strategic objectives derived from market intelligence and competitor benchmarking. Requirements: • 5–10+ years of progressive sales or business development for EV charging experience in one or more of the following areas: Fleet, OEM/Dealer group, leasing, automotive, related clean mobility sectors. • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders from operational level to senior management., • Proven success leading sales operations with revenue and P&L responsibility., • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and technical operations, ensuring alignment and delivery against shared business objectives., • Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships with energy providers (DSOs), OEMs, leasing companies, or eMSP platforms to create sustainable business ecosystems., • Proven ability to implement and manage CRM and pipeline management systems to track business performance and forecasting accuracy., • Demonstrated ability to structure, negotiate, and close large-scale commercial deals., • Strong knowledge of UK EV infrastructure policies, OZEV grant schemes, and building regulations impacting residential and commercial charging deployment, • Self-starter mindset, comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment with evolving processes.
