Project Coordinator Kilmarnock - Full-Time, Permanent (onsite, early Friday finish) Overview We are recruiting a Project Coordinator to support planning, scheduling and workflow management within a fast-paced engineering environment. This role involves creating and maintaining production and project plans, coordinating with multiple internal teams, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule. It is well-suited to someone with experience in engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, operations, or any environment where resource coordination and daily planning are key. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain resource and production plans across multiple ongoing projects, • Update project schedules daily using Excel and/or MS Project, • Liaise with supervisors, engineers and project managers to track progress and gather accurate status updates, • Produce daily and weekly task plans for production teams, • Identify and highlight delays, risks, shortages and schedule conflicts, • Coordinate planned activities to minimise disruption and ensure safe sequencing of work, • Support the review of work instructions before project start-up and ensure documentation is completed at project close-out, • Collate timesheets, attendance data and shift information for reporting, • Assist in forecasting resource requirements and supporting operational improvements What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in planning, scheduling, coordination or engineering administration, • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, data analysis), • Experience using MS Project or willingness to learn, • Background in engineering, manufacturing, workshop, production, maintenance or similar, • Confident communicator, able to work closely with production teams and technical staff Benefits • Salary £28,000–£32,000 depending on experience, • Early Friday finish (1:30pm), • Private medical insurance, • Contributory pension scheme, • Long-term stability and development opportunities within a growing engineering operation
