We're looking for a confident Site Manager who can take charge of site operations from day one, lead teams with authority, and maintain the highest standards across health & safety, quality, environment, programme, and commercial control. WHY THIS ROLE WILL APPEAL TO YOU ✔ You'll run your own site - not babysit it ✔ You'll work with a professional, supportive project & commercial team ✔ You'll have real authority to make decisions ✔ You'll be trusted to manage people, programme, subcontractors & stakeholders ✔ You'll be well paid for your responsibility - £60,000-£65,000 ✔ Marine experience welcomed (but not essential) ✔ Long-term, stable opportunity with challenging projects WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR You'll be the driving force on site, responsible for safe delivery, programme performance, commercial control, and team leadership, including: Site Leadership & Delivery Setting up and maintaining a safe, clean, compliant site Leading daily/weekly briefings, toolbox talks & site inductions Managing labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors Reviewing drawings, specifications & coordinating subcontractor design Updating programmes weekly and managing delays proactivelyHealth, Safety, Environmental & Quality Developing and maintaining HSEQ plans, RAMS, ITPs & lift plans Conducting weekly HSE inspections and incident reporting Managing waste, permits, licences & environmental compliance Promoting a strong safety-first cultureCommercial & Contractual Control Managing variations, early warnings, CTQs & compensation events Supporting interim valuations, forecasts & final accounts Reviewing subcontractor pricing, RAMS, timesheets & performance Producing monthly reports and project close-out documentationPeople Management Leading, motivating and developing your site team Managing holidays, sickness, performance & wellbeing Promoting openness, accountability and high standardsStakeholder Management Liaising with clients, residents, landowners & utility companies Managing inspections, handovers and final completionWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR ✔ Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering / infrastructure projects ✔ Strong knowledge of H&S, environmental and quality systems ✔ Confident managing subcontractors, programmes & commercial processes ✔ Excellent leadership and communication skills ✔ Marine experience desirable ✔ Security clearance required (or ability to obtain) THE REWARD £60,000 - £65,000 salary Strong support from Project, Commercial & QHSE teams Long-term career opportunity with progression Challenging, interesting projects where your input mattersINTERESTED?
