Facilities & Maintenance Engineer Location: Worcestershire Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum dependant on skillset. Vacancy Type: Full-time, Mon-Fri working hours 37.5 hour a week contract. We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of maintenance services to ensure our site remains safe, efficient, and well-presented always. Key responsibilities include carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs across a variety of disciplines. This includes general building maintenance, carpentry tasks, and basic mechanical work. As part of the Facilities Team, you will also play an important role in supporting site improvement projects, enhancing operational areas, and contributing to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the premises. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repair: • Carry out routine and planned preventative maintenance across the site, • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner, • Repair and maintain building structures including walls, floors, doors, and windows, • Install, assemble, and maintain equipment, furniture, fixtures, and appliances, • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential safety hazards, • Ensure all work is carried out in line with company policies and health & safety regulations, • Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, and completed repairs, • Monitor and manage stock levels of tools, equipment, and consumables, • Report any shortages or requirements in a timely manner, • Work closely with internal teams to minimise disruption during maintenance activities, • Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues regarding progress, issues, and timelines, • Solid understanding of general maintenance and repair practices, • Strong awareness of health and safety standards, • Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach, • High attention to detail and quality of work, • Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks, • Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and priorities, • Clear communication skills, • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset, • Reliable, responsible, and accountable, • Staff discount online store, • Company events, • Refer a friend Scheme - £150+ If you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for GreenSafe IT, please do not hesitate to apply.
