Depending on business needs, you may work within one or more of our operational teams, including Responsive Repairs, Voids, Kitchens & Bathrooms (K&B), Major Works and Lampton Homes.\n\nKey Responsibilities include:\n\nDiagnose, fault find, test, repair and maintain electrical installations within domestic and communal properties, ensuring all works comply with current regulations and company standards.\nCarry out electrical installations, alterations, upgrades, inspection, testing, commissioning and certification of electrical systems, including partial and full rewires.\nWork across a range of operational workstreams including Responsive Repairs, Voids, Kitchens & Bathrooms (K&B), Major Works and Lampton Homes, depending on business requirements.\nUndertake electrical refurbishment and improvement works within occupied and unoccupied properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service.\nInstall, maintain and test a variety of electrical systems including power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, ICT infrastructure and three-phase installations.\nInterpret technical drawings, specifications and work schedules to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to agreed deadlines.\nPlan and manage workloads effectively, ensuring the correct materials, equipment and resources are available to complete works within target timescales.\nComplete all required electrical certification and documentation accurately, including EICRs, EICs, Minor Works Certificates and other compliance records.\nUnderstand and comply with all Health & Safety legislation, company procedures, safe systems of work and asbestos awareness requirements.\nWork independently or as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills and a professional approach with minimal supervision.\nRespond positively to changing priorities and emergency situations, adapting workloads to meet service demands while ensuring properties are left safe, secure and tidy.\nProvide excellent customer service when working within residents' homes, maintaining a professional, respectful and solution-focused approach at all times.\nParticipate in the emergency call-out rota and provide out-of-hours support when required.\nSupport apprentices, trainees and colleagues by sharing knowledge and promoting best practice across the electrical service.\nCarry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and remedial works in accordance with BS7671 and company procedures.\nUse handheld technology and company systems to accurately update work orders, certification and job progress.\n\nAbout you\n\nWe are looking for a qualified, motivated and customer-focused Electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.\n\nEducation & Qualifications Required:\n\nFull, clean driving licence\nCity & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).\nCity & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing, or an equivalent qualification.\nNVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation including AM2, City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2, or an equivalent recognised electrical qualification.\n\nDiversity, equity and inclusion are at the heart of what we value as an organisation.
