You won?t be stepping into an established team or inherited processes ? you?ll be shaping the role, the relationships and the approach from the ground up. Your initial priority will be embedding managing agents, setting clear expectations and building strong, effective working relationships that deliver safe, compliant and customer?focused services. We?re looking for someone who?s confident operating with autonomy, able to hit the ground running and comfortable bringing structure where it doesn?t yet exist. If you have a solid background in leasehold, estate management or social housing, and you?re experienced in managing external agents or partners, this is a chance to make a real and lasting impact. What you?ll do Establish and own managing agent relationships, embedding expectations around service delivery, compliance and performance Hold managing agents to account, using your judgement and influence to address issues quickly and effectively Monitor compliance, risk and value for money, ensuring services meet legal, regulatory and lease obligations Build strong relationships with managing agents and internal stakeholders, balancing challenge with collaboration Use data and insight to track performance, identify trends and drive service improvements Manage complaints and disputes, applying clear communication and a pragmatic, customer?focused approach Why join us This is more than a job, it?s a place where you feel valued. You have Strong experience in leasehold property or estate management, including working closely with managing agents or external partners Knowledge of social housing, or a clear track record of managing complex customer and/or agent relationships in a regulated environment Confidence interpreting leases, legal documents and contractual terms, and applying them in real?world situations Experience monitoring contracts and service performance, with the confidence to challenge where standards aren?t met The ability to work independently, set direction and bring clarity in a new or evolving environment CIH Level 3 (Competence and Conduct for Social Housing) or a willingness to study towards it with our support Stronger together We do our best work when we?re ourselves.
