Our client are a leading, global cybersecurity vendor in the network security space, looking to add additional resource in the UK to support the European Post-Sales team. Role Summary The Solutions Architecture team operates as part of the post-sales organisation—prioritising customer outcomes and long-term success. As a Solutions Architect, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, shaping product direction, and strengthening the company’s overall market position. This role involves solving complex business and technical challenges across a wide range of industries and technology environments. You can expect consistently varied and engaging work. Primary Responsibilities • Develop advanced graphical user interface components, • Write complex trigger or event-based scripts, • Build intermediate-level integrations using external REST APIs, • Apply an intermediate understanding of networking and application design, • Assess customer network architectures and application stacks; identify strategies for extracting high-value telemetry from network traffic, • Analyze and document industry-specific applications across multiple verticals; create technical materials to support product enhancement and marketing, • Perform root-cause analysis on high-impact technical issues and guide customers toward effective resolutions, • Create custom tools using Python, JavaScript, and related APIs to extend platform capabilities, • Build tailored data analysis workflows for real-time monitoring of technical and business conditions, • Produce high-quality data visualizations for investigative and strategic purposes, • Develop automation to streamline repeatable tasks and increase focus on high-value solution development, • Deliver hands-on enablement workshops for customer teams Required Qualifications • 6–8 years of relevant professional experience, • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, • Strong background in customer-facing roles with excellent interpersonal skills, • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (OSI layers 2–4) and common application protocols (e.g., HTTP, SQL, CIFS/NFS, HL7, caching protocols, DNS), • Familiarity with principles of distributed systems, web technologies, databases, and application communication models, • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript, • Excellent written communication abilities, • High degree of independence, initiative, and ownership mindset £90-110k base dependant on experience + bonus + benefits package
