Job Title: Senior Designer Location: Burnley Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days remote) Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Company Overview Our client is a creative-led digital agency specialising in high-quality design across web, motion, social and digital campaigns. Working on a retained basis with a range of clients, the business focuses on delivering clear, effective, and visually strong creative solutions. With a collaborative team structure and a strong emphasis on client relationships, the agency prides itself on creative precision, consistency and delivering work that meets both strategic and commercial objectives. The Role This is a senior, hands-on position that combines design leadership, client interaction, and team support. Sitting at the centre of the design function, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of creative output while acting as a key point of contact for both internal teams and clients. The role is split approximately 60/40 between hands-on design and leadership responsibilities. You will lead by example through your own work, while also guiding and supporting designers to elevate overall output. Key Responsibilities Design Execution Lead and deliver high-quality design work across a range of outputs including: • Websites and landing pages, • Campaign and social content, • Motion and interactive assets Design QA and Quality Control • Review all design work before it is shared with clients, • Ensure outputs meet the brief, align with brand guidelines and are fit for purpose, • Work closely with project managers and designers to clarify and shape briefs, • Translate ambiguous requirements into clear creative approaches, • Present work and articulate design decisions with clarity and confidence, • Support client conversations, feedback sessions and project discussions, • Act as a senior point of guidance for the design team, • Support idea development and improve creative thinking, • Partner with project managers on scoping, timelines and delivery, • Ensure efficient workflow and project progression, • Strong portfolio across digital, campaign and brand work, • Experience working across web, UX/UI, motion, and digital design, • Proven ability to review and improve the work of others, • Confident in client-facing situations with strong communication skills, • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, • Experience with motion tools such as After Effects, • Understanding of design systems, layouts, and production processes, • A well-rounded designer with a generalist skill set rather than a pure specialist, • Comfortable balancing hands-on delivery with leadership responsibilities, • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for output quality, • Able to provide clear direction and make decisions that move work forward JBRP1_UKTJ
