HCRG Care Group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Infant Feeding Supporter to join our Community Infant Feeding Team across Lancashire. This role supports delivery of UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) Gold accreditation , helping to improve outcomes for babies and families, particularly in the early postnatal period and beyond. As part of our dynamic and friendly team, you will provide 1:1, group-based, and virtual infant feeding support across Family Hubs, clinics, and family homes. You will promote breastfeeding, responsive bottle feeding, and healthy infant nutrition in line with BFI Gold standards , and will role‑model compassionate, non‑judgemental communication and care. In addition to direct support, you will also: • Contribute to the creation and development of high‑quality infant feeding resources , ensuring information is accessible, evidence‑based, and aligned with BFI Gold requirements., • Support the planning and delivery of local and national campaigns such as Breastfeeding Celebration Week, Infant Feeding Awareness activities, and Family Hub engagement events., • Experience supporting families in a community or health setting, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Confidence working with a level of autonomy (with support from the Community Specialist Infant Feeding Lead) Due to the travel required for this role, a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential.
