Technical Training & Applications Specialist (Solar & Storage) SolaX Power – UK & Ireland The Role This is a customer-facing technical role focused on training, problem-solving, and representing SolaX in the field. You will lead installer training, support commissioning on-site, and act as a trusted technical presence across the UK and Ireland. This is not a sales role. Your impact is measured by installer confidence, repeat installations, and long-term relationships. What You’ll Be Doing Training & Installer Development (Primary) • Deliver structured training sessions (10–30 installers), • Run sessions at:, • SolaX training centre (Atherstone – preferred base), • Distributor locations, • Customer sites and events, • Teach installation, wiring, commissioning, and troubleshooting, • Adapt HQ training into practical, UK-relevant guidance, • Deliver hands-on sessions using real systems Technical Support & Field Work • Support installers with commissioning and fault finding, • Progress into advanced diagnostics over time, • Escalate and resolve issues with HQ when required, • Provide feedback on UK-specific product requirements Installer & Partner Engagement • Build long-term relationships with installers and distributors, • Act as a trusted advisor, not a salesperson, • Confidently guide and challenge installers where needed, • Support roadshows, demos, and technical events Events & Internal Support • Build, run, and break down smaller exhibitions/trade events, • Support sales and marketing activity in the field, • Contribute to video and social content when required, • Maintain a professional, organised training environment Why Join SolaX This role offers a clear step beyond being on the tools or working in a purely internal role.
