You will supervise the gym, lead fitness activities, maintain health and safety standards, and ensure all users enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. This is a term-time role with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Gym Supervisor - Key Responsibilities: • Supervise gym users, enforce rules, and provide inductions., • Lead exercise classes and support sports activities for students, staff, and the community., • Set up, dismantle, and maintain gym and sporting equipment safely., • Maintain health and safety, including daily checks and reporting maintenance needs., • Promote sport and fitness through events, promotions, and communications., • Support safeguarding and equality., • Administer payments and liaise with user groups to meet their needs. About You Essential: • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in relevant field., • First Aid certificate (up-to-date)., • Experience in a health and fitness environment, including supervising and running exercise classes., • Competent with Microsoft Office and cash handling., • Strong organisational, communication, and customer service skills., • Flexible, reliable, and committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults., • Enhanced DBS clearance required and re-checked every 4 years., • Willingness to undertake First Aid and other relevant training.
