Chef de Partie - Private School, Oxford Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 per year Full-time, 52 weeks per year Location: Oxford Contract Type: Permanent About the Role A prestigious private school in Oxford is seeking a talented and driven Chef de Partie to join its dedicated in-house catering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a high-quality, well-organised kitchen and enjoys producing fresh, nutritious meals for pupils, staff, and guests. What You'll Do Prepare and cook high-quality dishes across various sections of the kitchen. Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering a varied and seasonal menu. Ensure all food produced meets the school's standards for taste, presentation, and nutritional value. Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety practices in line with school and statutory guidelines. Assist in stock control, ordering, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Contribute to special events, functions, and catering for school activities. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready for the next step. Background in fresh-food hospitality, contract catering, education, or similar environments. A passion for delivering high-quality, child-friendly dishes with creativity and consistency. Strong communication skills and the ability to work positively within a team. A proactive, organised approach with high standards of cleanliness and safety. Relevant food safety qualifications (Level 2 minimum; Level 3 desirable). What's on Offer Competitive salary of £33,000-£35,000 , dependent on experience. 52-week, full-time contract • offering security and consistency.
