Job Description This is an Assistant Manager of spa/retail counter & cashier position with responsibility to manage the daily operations of front of the house (counter) and retail boutique. This position serves as first and last point of contact for each client, visitor, etc., checking clients in/out, answering phones, booking appointments, selling services, products, assist in cleaning spa, lobby, common areas and doing spa laundry, making outgoing calls to invite clients back in and tell them about our specials, filing, selling boutique items, spa services, skin care at counter. It's a busy position even when we don't have clients in and requires self managing to stay on tasks and accomplish full goals of position. We are a small, locally owned spa with a small and growing staff. Our spa is highly sanitized, clean, neat and inviting - this role will proudly welcome our guests into our paradise and also take pride in keeping it up to par at all times. This includes, staying busy, answering incoming calls, ringing clients out on register, inputting notes in systems, filing, checking emails, making social posts, serving water and wine to guests, helping to prepare spa rooms by cleaning/sanitizing them in between clients as needed, doing laundry, keeping common areas of spa clean by cleaning, sanitizing, opening and closing spa , inputting client notes in computer, keeping track of sales info and doing closing paperwork, follow-up and confirmation calls, checking email and also assist in some non-licenses spa services. Must be a strong team player that's focused on team excellence, results, work environment and achieving goals and objectives. REQUIREMENTS: Min age 21 Min 2 years work experience Must be mature, professional, reliable This is an active management role - not behind desk sitting, but instead a front counter position where you are the first point of contact in a very important and vital role Daily opening & closing business, store & counter Tuesday, - Saturday Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 8:40am - 5:45 PM (ending shift is when closing duties are completed and could go to 6-6:15) Thursday 8:40am - 6:30 pm OFF Sunday & Monday $12.50 - $15 pay range per hour, plus Commission on product sales and bonus opportunity based on meeting annual store goals. Overtime is paid on any hours over 40 in a work week at time and a half. Weekly pay, employee discount and great working environment. Requirements: 2 Years in retail, health, spa or cashier position) experience., Preferably in spa, retail, beauty medical/services. skin care, or education industry,.. Must have basic computer skills, organizational skills, math skills, professional, clean and neat appearance, energetic, ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed, people, phone, communication, listening and interpersonal skills. Social media skills preferred, but not required. Proven track record of accomplishing personal or professional goals Must be self sufficient, reliable, stable, reliable transportation, professional, clean and neat with a stable work history, record and verifiable references. Ability to pass background & drug test Mature, professional, able to stand 8 hours, work outlined schedule without alteration to such; goal oriented, strong fair, ethical leadership and ability to work with others and desire to work in a small business directly with owner and lead/supervisory staff to run a small yet highly regarded and effective award -winning neighborhood business.
