Our client is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Product Equipment Technician to join our team. This role combines hands-on technical repair with customer interaction, requiring strong troubleshooting abilities and a service-oriented mindset. You will support customers from initial contact through resolution while maintaining accurate service records and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.Job Description:, • Assist customers from initial service call through final resolution in a professional and courteous manner, • Track and manage all service calls, including accurate CRM data entry, opening/closing orders and cases, • Inspect, test, and diagnose malfunctioning equipment using appropriate tools and methods, • Disassemble and repair or replace defective components (motors, clutches, transformers, etc.), • Test and calibrate equipment using technical manuals and troubleshooting techniques, • Interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation, • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, • Plan and document periodic testing; escalate or recommend equipment replacement when needed, • Research parts catalogs, order replacement components, and track inventory, • Develop and follow standard operating procedures for equipment maintenance, • Provide troubleshooting support, create service cases, and generate customer quotes, • Identify upselling opportunities for products and services, • Assist with inventory handling and occasional on-site client installation Qualifications:, • Education: High School Diploma or Equivelant required, • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in equipment repair, mechanical service, or similar role (Service Advisor, Technician, Mechanic, etc.), • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and/or mechanical systems, • Customer service experience with a professional communication style, • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel), • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Ability to manage multiple service cases and priorities effectively Preferred Skills:, • Experience working with CRM systems, • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs, • Experience in field service or client-facing technical roles Your New Organization:A value-driven culture at a custom manufacturing company that serves healthcare professionals translates into high-quality products, dedicated employees, and long-term business success.
