Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Monitoring Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Credit Monitoring Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing credit risk exposures across the organization. You will play a crucial role in assessing creditworthiness, monitoring credit limits, and ensuring compliance with established credit policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit monitoring within commercial banking. Skills and Experience: • 10+ years’ work experience related to various aspects of credit, loan, and collateral monitoring, • Experience with introducing new processes to an organization and managing said processes, • Must demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities and provide detailed reports for review and action, • Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks while maintaining quality work product, • Must possess strong project, process, and time management skills, • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, • Must be able to verbally communicate effectively one-to-one and in groups, • Must be able to write clearly and effectively, • Must be able to develop and maintain cohesive, cooperative working relationship with co-workers, • Must understand and work effectively within the credit culture of the company To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Develop and adopt practices and processes that enhance the Bank’s risk management system, • Ensure key risk elements are appropriately identified, tracked, and mitigated through monitoring and validation functions, • Ensure appropriate procedures are in place, maintained, and consistently adhered to, • Ensure senior management is apprised of material non-compliance issues and adverse trends, • Coordinate with internal partners & internal discussions (discussions, screens, etc.), • Assist in training and coaching team members on monitoring processes and procedures, • Special projects as needed Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred, • Minimum of ten (10) years commercial credit/loan experience, • Ability to respond to common inquiries from internal clients, regulatory agencies, and employees, • Advanced knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies, • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, including use of word, excel, and office, • Advanced math skills, • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, • Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations. This position is a full-time, exempt position. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Travel: Some travel between Third Coast Bank offices may be required. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This position uses office equipment such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines, calculators, filing cabinets and printers. Physical Demands: This position will be responsible for writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 50 pounds), driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling, and reaching. Mental Demands: The incumbent in this position must be able to accommodate to reading documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, multiple concurrent tasks, and constant interruptions.
