Job DescriptionManufacturing Leader Wanted: Join us as a Plant Manager!Location: Philadelphia, PA Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Schedule: Monday–Friday, Standard Business Hours Salary: $170,000–$190,000 annually (depending on experience and education)About the OpportunityA growing manufacturing organization in the Philadelphia area is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily plant operations and drive performance across production, planning, sourcing, and shipping. This high-impact role is ideal for a handson leader who excels in fast-paced environments and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities • Oversee all plant operations including production, planning, sourcing, and shipping, • Build and maintain a safety-first culture while ensuring OSHA, ISO, and environmental compliance, • Manage budgets, labor costs, materials, consumables, and energy usage, • Lead capital projects, including scoping, vendor selection, and project execution, • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives, • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Planning to maintain accurate schedules and inventory levels, • Partner with R&D and Quality on new product development and implementation, • Manage and develop a team of five direct reports, • Conduct performance reviews, promotions, coaching, and corrective actions, • Approve and maintain manufacturing SOPsQualifications, • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (required), • 10+ years of progressive operations experience in a manufacturing environment, • Experience in Adhesive/Paper Plant Management required, • Experience in PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesives) strongly preffered, • Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, OEE, and 6S systems, • Solid understanding of manufacturing financials and cost structures, • Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams, • Strong communication, organization, and timemanagement skills, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteWhy This Role Stands Out, • Direct influence on plant strategy and operational performance, • High visibility with executive leadership, • Opportunity to lead and develop a talented operations team, • Stable, growth-oriented manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and continuous improvement PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
