Job Description Staff Accountant Marquee Sports Network is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Team. We are looking for a bright, self-starter to provide key finance and accounting support to management and our partners. This individual will provide analysis that support key initiatives, as well as have responsibility for preparing and analyzing reports for month-end close, while ensuring and adhering to strong financial internal controls. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance. Some of the duties will include: • Partner with centralized corporate accounting during month end close to ensure timely and accurate financial results. Includes analyzing actual results and identifying accruals needed, booking journal entries, and performing account reconciliations., • Code & route department invoices for manager approval and accounts payable processing. Act as point of contact for accounts payable with centralized corporate function., • Act as the main point of contact for advertising customer billing, collections, and cash posting – includes working directly with customers., • Prepare daily broadcasting log reconciliations., • Review monthly general ledger to ensure correct allocations/coding of expenses., • Special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by management., • Assist in internal, external financial audits., • Prepare various special analyses, including event production analysis and tracking., • Work with SVP of Finance to ensure GAAP compliance in financials throughout the year and create year end GAAP financials., • Ensure compliance with all tax filings through preparation and filing (i.e. sales and use, 1099, extensions, quarterly and annual filings)., • 2-3 years prior work experience in accounting. Media experience a plus., • Ability to multitask internal and external requests., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Effective time management, detail oriented, and strong analytical skills., • Proficiency with accounting principles, Microsoft Office suite, general ledgers and accounts payable systems., • Ability to work extended hours expected as situations arise. Job Description*Must be bilingual (fluent in English an Spanish)*Purpose: Under the direction of the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager on duty, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for the daily duties in maintaining high levels of customer service through offering a clean, safe, and friendly store. Position Responsibilities:Primary: • Customer Service and Satisfaction: Assists customers with the use of payment systems, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, and wash/dry/fold orders; handles customer questions/concerns and informs Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager, as needed. Reports to work in a neat and clean manner and wears appropriate uniform. Store Safety and Security: Maintains a safe environment inside and outside of the store by following proper security procedures and prioritizing employee and customer safety. * Store Cleanliness and Upkeep: Ensures that the highest level of cleanliness is maintained inside and outside of the store at all times; follows proper cleaning routines and documents completion. * Building and Equipment Maintenance: Documents equipment and building maintenance issues appropriately, escalating unsafe situations to the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager on duty. * Retail: Maintains a good visual presentation of retail products at all times; maintain a thorough understanding of retail products and educate the customer; accurately process sales and encourage customers to purchase additional items. * Wash/Dry/Fold: Provides a consistent quality product to the customer by choosing the appropriate equipment for clothing and completing the order with care; completes logs accurately. Addresses customer concerns and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner; immediately informs Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager on duty of any claims. * Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed at all times. * All other duties, as assigned.
