Job DescriptionJob Title: Inventory Auditor Job Description The Inventory Auditor is responsible for planning and scheduling inventory control, implementing cycle counts, and investigating any reported inventory discrepancies. Responsibilities • Perform cycle counts at regular intervals., • Investigate all discrepancies and make necessary adjustments where applicable., • Obtain management approval as per company policy., • Communicate with personnel in other departments about the cause of inventory discrepancies., • Develop and implement processes and procedures in support of inventory control., • Reconcile external warehouse inventory., • Maintain a safe working environment., • Coordinate operations and activities in inventory counts with other personnel., • Regularly interact and communicate with various internal departments to provide vital information necessary to meet inventory standards.Essential Skills, • Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel., • Experience in working with SAP preferred., • 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory control preferred., • High level of organizational skills., • Ability to operate independently yet as part of a team., • Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Strong interpersonal, teambuilding, and leadership skills., • High School diploma or GED., • Powered Industrial Equipment Certification (Reach Truck, Sit-Down and Ride-On Powered Pallet Jack).Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in reconciliation processes., • Proficiency in inventory control methodologies., • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.Why Work Here? The noise level is usually moderate, and employees may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, dust, airborne particles, cold and elevated ambient temperatures, and outside weather conditions. The role may require working overtime on other shifts and weekends depending on business needs. Employees will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to operate powered industrial equipment, computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone. The position also involves occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and lifting up to 51 pounds with assistance for heavier items. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Plainfield, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
