Job Description Process Administrators perform a number of activities across their area of responsibility. They establish data sets and documents for each product and support engineering, quality assurance and production in administrative aspects. They are team players, passionate about procedures and able to discover new ways to do the job more effectively. As a Process Administrator, you will be involved in various crucial aspects of ensuring smooth process operations within our Medical division. Your responsibilities span multiple phases of the product lifecycle and involve collaborating with various departments and external partners. Primary job duties • Ensure the smooth flow of information and materials, keeping deadlines and schedules, • Evaluate and schedule all necessary indirect material, • Prepare and maintain inspection plan for indirect material, external operations, evaluate and assess suppliers, • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve the performance and quality of the department output, • Manage and maintain product data within the company's information systems, • Create detailed product cost calculations for new and existing products Other job duties • Establish flow charts, work plans and BOMs, • Track the entire product lifecycle, and store documents and files, • Support the implementation of new product introductions, • Assist in the preparation of prototypes and validation production runs, • Communicate and act proactively across departments and locations, • Other duties as needed or required In the role of Process Administrator in the medical field, you will manage and maintain product data. You generate detailed product cost calculations and coordinate the system-based implementation of prototype and validation productions. Additionally, you oversee the implementation of changes. In this role, you serve as the central interface between the engineering department and production, collaborating closely with various departments and facilities. You also develop and optimize business processes within the broader scope of your responsibilities. · Product Cost Calculation (RFQ Process) · Production Data Preparation (Prototype/Validation Process) · Change Management (ECO Process) · Business Process Development & Continuous Improvement Additionally, you will support other medical plants in their daily business operations. Your role as a Process Administrator is pivotal in ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across our operations. · Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field · Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered · Experience: 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical technology, precision manufacturing, or metal processing · Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP – PP and MM modules) · Strong knowledge of product costing, process efficiency, and quality assurance · Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and continuous improvement methods · Proficient in English (German language skills are an asset) Company DescriptionThe BAUMANN Group has been a symbol of Swiss precision and quality for more than 130 years.
