Open Positions: Pulmonology, Allergy, Somnology Providers (MD / DO / APRN / NP / PA) Specialty: Pulmonology, Allergy and Somnology Locations: Orange, CT Position type: Full-Time Position style: In-Person Work Schedule: • Position is 4 x 10-hour shifts, • 3 weekend shifts required per month, • We are looking for a compassionate Pulmonology, Allergy, or Sleep Medicine Provider (MD, DO, NP, APRN, FNP, PA) to join our team of highly skilled clinical providers in Orange, CT., • Pulmonology, Allergy, or Sleep medicine is an essential field that addresses the complex needs of patients with respiratory, allergic conditions and sleep disorder. As a provider, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives by treating a variety of conditions related to pulmonology, allergy, or sleep medicine., • We are attracting motivated and experienced candidates who have a genuine passion for patient care and want to expand their careers while enjoying a healthy work-life balance., • Our clinical team enjoys a flexible lifestyle with the opportunity for 4-day workweeks., • We are committed to hiring team members who are driven to provide exceptional care in the specialized fields of Pulmonology, Allergy, or Sleep Medicine., • Providing and managing immediate patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and regular well-visits specific to Pulmonology, Allergy, or Sleep Medicine., • Engaging with patients and their families or caregivers to understand and monitor self-management care plans., • Examining patients, evaluating medical histories, addressing patients' questions and concerns., • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining the results to patients., • Documenting individualized care plans and care coordination in the patient chart., • Analyzing patients? medical history, medication allergies, physical condition, and examination to determine the best care for Pulmonology, Allergy, or Sleep Medicine-related issues., • Updating patients' charts and information to reflect current findings and treatments., • Prescribing pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions., • Referring patients to specialists in Pulmonology, Allergy, or Sleep medicine or related fields as appropriate., • Directing and coordinating patient care activities of nursing and support staff., • Participating in meetings to evaluate practice processes and workflows pertaining to patient care and quality improvement efforts., • Participating in health promotion, education, and/or prevention programs, particularly those related to pulmonary and allergy conditions., • Active medical licensure and ability to prescribe medications in CT., • Minimum 1 year of experience in Pulmonology, Allergy, or Sleep Medicine.
