Job Description Position: Sales & Customer Experience Specialist (SCES) Classification: Non-Exempt Summary/Objective We are looking for a highly motivated Sales & Customer Experience Specialist (SCES) to manage customer interactions, appointment scheduling, high-volume inbound and outbound calls, order processing, issue resolution, and inside sales activities. The SCES will act as a liaison between customers and the service team, ensuring accurate order entry, timely communication, conflict resolution, and achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, highly communicative, and enjoys building relationships with customers. This role requires a strong customer service mindset, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with CRM and sales software. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Appointment Management • Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, especially during peak seasons, while maintaining professionalism and accuracy., • Schedule, reschedule, or cancel customer appointments based on requests., • Send appointment reminders via phone, email, or text to reduce no-shows., • Coordinate with the service team to resolve scheduling conflicts between customers and staff., • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service-related issues promptly and professionally., • Enter, verify, and process customer orders accurately in CRM or order management systems (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365)., • Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, orders, and related documentation., • Generate sales leads and follow up on inbound and outbound calls., • Conduct outbound calls to leads, prospects, and existing customers to generate revenue opportunities during both standard and peak business periods., • Identify and assess customer needs to present solutions and achieve satisfaction., • Build sustainable relationships with customers through open, interactive communication., • Present product/service offerings using consultative sales techniques to overcome objections and close sales via phone, email, or other virtual platforms., • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas and call handling targets., • Communicate effectively with internal teams to align on customer needs, scheduling, and sales opportunities., • Escalate recurring issues, trends, or complex customer problems to management., • High-Volume Call Management – Ability to handle fluctuating levels of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining composure, accuracy, and strong customer service., • Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in order processing, scheduling, and sales documentation., • Communication Skills – Verbal and written communication across multiple channels., • Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution – Handling scheduling conflicts, complaints, and service issues., • Organization & Time Management – Managing multiple customer interactions, appointments, and sales leads., • Customer-Oriented Mindset – Advocating for the customer and maintaining satisfaction., • Sales & Negotiation Skills – Applying consultative selling methods to drive revenue. This position does not supervise others. Work Environment This role operates primarily in a professional office setting, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and scanners. Occasional travel may be required to support customer engagements. Physical Demands • Ability to sit, stand, and use hands for computer and phone operations for extended periods., • Occasional lifting of light materials (up to 25 lbs) for filing or office tasks. Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays as required. Occasional evening coverage may be necessary during peak periods. Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent., • Proven experience in customer service, appointment scheduling, order entry, or inside sales., • Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills., • Experience with CRM and sales software (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365)., • Previous experience in an outbound call center or sales position., • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas., • Hourly Rate: $20.50 + Commission, • Health Insurance options, • 401(k), • Employees accrue paid sick leave as required by Illinois’ Paid Leave for All Workers Act (PLAWA).
