The Department of Psychiatry provides care and services to one of the most diverse population in New York. The Department has 60 acute inpatient beds, a busy Psychiatry ED, a Mobile Crisis Team, a Consultation-Liaison Service and a large ambulatory platform serving adults and children. The Department provides on-site school-based services to multiple Bronx sites. JOB SUMMARY Borinquen Court & Tres Puentes is a cluster of Senior Supportive and Affordable Housing residence in the Bronx, providing 323 units of permanent housing (145 at Borinquen Court, and 178 at Tres Puentes). The Property Manager position partners with Social Services staff to collaborate in the development, evaluation and implementation of agency policies, procedures, and programs with the goal of improving the services provided to residents. The Property Manager is responsible for safe operations of the building; staff supervision, operating the property within the budget, facility maintenance, compliance, resident relations and collaborating with the social services team to keep residents stably housed. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Building Management: • With the Assistant Property Manager, supervise the maintenance, administrative and compliance staff, including:, • 1 Assistant Property Manager, • 1 Administrative Assistant, • 1 Income Certification Specialist, • 5 Front Desk staff (24/7 staffing), • 1 Superintendent, 2 Handy Persons, 7 Porters. Job Description Overview Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. We are currently searching for a dynamic Full time Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our outstanding team. We have immediate openings and flexible schedules. This position has a mix of cases; besides the bread and butter we also serve light pediatrics, obstetric, neuro, orthopedics and plastics. Daily work includes working with NP’s, medical students and residents. Responsibilities • Provide psychiatric management for adults, age 18 and up, in an acute inpatient setting, • Day Shift 9am -5PM daily (40 hours a week), • Develop treatment plans and manage electronic medical record (EPIC) in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and other regulations, • Work with consultants as indicated by patient needs, • Lead Multi-disciplinary Inpatient team with Caseload of 12 or less., • Supervision of NP's and or Psychiatry residents, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team in management of complex cases, • Participate in didactic training programs for psychiatric residents, medical students, psychology interns and other trainees, • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities Qualifications • Must be board eligible or board certified in Adult Psychiatry, • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine, • Completed residency training in an accredited program within Adult Psychiatry Annual Base Salary: $236,900* (board eligible); $247,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $364,590 (board eligible) and $415,920 (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000., • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets., • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):, • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings.
