Job Overview As an Experienced Outside Sales Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in developing new business, managing key accounts, and delivering customized solutions across the construction and steel building sectors. You’ll represent our brand with professionalism and integrity while achieving ambitious sales targets and expanding our presence in the Florida and Georgia markets. Required Qualifications • 3–5 years of sales experience (preferably in construction, steel fabrication, or metal building systems), • Strong understanding of metal building components, structural steel, panels, trim, insulation systems, and erection processes, • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications, • Proven track record in business development, territory management, and meeting/exceeding sales goals, • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, • Proficiency with CRM software, quoting tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites, client offices, and industry events, • Must be able to travel extensively (65–70%) throughout Florida and Georgia, with possible overnight stays, • Ability to perform field measurements and site assessments accurately, • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver technical solutions, • Highly ethical, trustworthy, and committed to confidentiality., • Experience selling pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), metal roofing, or structural steel, • Existing relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and architects in the region, • Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and engineering requirements, • Industry certifications (e.g., MBMA, Metal Building Institute, OSHA 10/30), • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused, • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships, • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with excellent follow-through, • Ability to walk job sites, climb ladders, and conduct outdoor inspections, • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, • Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives, • Opportunity to represent a respected brand in the steel building industry.
