American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Clinton, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Labor and Delivery, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Work in a short term acute care, teaching hospital in the Labor and Delivery unit, • Care for high risk L&D patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, • Shifts available are day (7:00-19:30) and night (19:00-7:30), each 3x12 hours per week, • Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as needed, • Float to like units such as Mom/Baby is required, with travelers floating before permanent staff, • On-call required: 24 hours over a 6 week period, with a 45-minute onsite response time, • Uses Cerner EMR system, • Scrubs are provided by the facility, • Responsibilities include circulating, fetal heart monitoring, and supporting high risk L&D patients in a teaching environment, • Must be open to working with a multidisciplinary team in a 338-bed facility, • Modules and orientation are required pre-start and possibly during orientation, with average modules taking up to 12 hours, • Return staff must have been separated from the health system for at least one year to be eligible, • No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract, with no time off in the first two weeks, • Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted\n \n Requirements\n, • Active RN license in MD or compact RN license required, • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Intermediate, • Must register for C-EFM during compliance or within the first two weeks of the assignment; C-EFM certification through NCC preferred, • Minimum of two years recent Labor and Delivery experience required, • At least one prior travel assignment required, • Ability to circulate, perform fetal heart monitoring (FHM), and take on preceptor or charge responsibilities, • High risk L&D experience required, • Triage experience preferred, • Two supervisor references from the past two years required\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
