Job DescriptionJob Title: TechnicianJob Description Join our team as a Technician, responsible for assembling and erecting pre-engineered metal buildings according to blueprints and specifications. You will work on-site at a project in St. Joe, starting at 6 AM until September, after which the project will begin at 7 AM. Your expertise will ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Responsibilities • Assemble and erect pre-engineered metal buildings according to blueprints and specifications., • Install metal siding, roofing panels, insulation, and doors using hand and power tools., • Inspect and repair damaged structural components., • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations., • Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment as needed., • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time., • 3-5 years' experience in pre-engineered metal building construction or ironworking., • Ability to wear a tool belt and use tools such as a spud wrench, bullpins, and suspenders., • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints., • Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards., • Valid driver’s license preferred., • Ability to hang iron, throw sheets/roofing, and perform general carpentry/concrete. Work Environment Work primarily on commercial buildings such as churches, banks, manufacturing centers, and trucking terminals. The role involves physical labor and requires working in various weather conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Saint Joseph, Missouri. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
