Future Ford of Sacramento is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Automotive Accounting & Administrative Clerk. This position supports a wide range of accounting and dealership functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor management, and automotive deal processing. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of automotive accounting practices, experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, and collections, as well as the ability to assist with wholesales, dealer trades, and DMV-related tasks. This role also provides cross-training opportunities and occasional support for other administrative positions, making it a dynamic and versatile position within our dealership. Pay Scale: Base hourly wages between $16.50 - $25.00 Expectations: Automotive experience required *** CDK a PLUS ++ Perks and Benefits: Employer Paid Life Additional Employee Life Insurance options Medical > HRA / HMO options Dental > PPO / DHMO options Vision Short Term Disability options Long Term Disability options Employee Training Employee Discounts 401(K) options Employee Assistance Programs Paid Time Off Job responsibilities between two positions include but are not limited to: • Accurately process, verify, and reconcile customer transactions related to accounts receivable, including matching receipts with invoices, resolving discrepancies, and preparing aging reports for management., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and vendor files, accommodating changes, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with historical sales data, pricing, and vendor requirements., • Manage collections by drafting professional communications, following up on delinquent accounts, and ensuring timely delivery of statements, invoices, credit memos, and year-end 1099 preparation., • Review, code, and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, credit card bills, and expense reimbursements, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and accurate posting in QuickBooks., • Process and maintain wholesales, purchases, dealer trades, and stock in trade units, while reviewing car deals for compliance and assisting with new/used car DMV paperwork., • Provide cross-training support, serve as backup for administrative roles, and assist with related special projects or ad hoc assignments as directed by management., • Maintain a professional appearance, organized workspace, and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
