We're looking for a Relief / Per Diem Pharmacist who wants their work to mean something — someone who brings care, accountability, and purpose to patient care and pharmacy operations. Why This Role Matters The Relief Pharmacist plays a critical role in maintaining the quality, safety, and effectiveness of pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacist‑in‑Charge. This role ensures patients receive appropriate, evidence‑based medication therapy while supporting technicians and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and accreditation standards. In this role, you'll contribute to work that: • Keeps patients safe through accurate medication review, verification, and education, • Supports pharmacy operations through steady leadership and sound clinical judgment, • Enables uninterrupted care in a clinician‑led organization focused on long‑term outcomes, • Provide clinical oversight of pharmacy operations when serving as pharmacist on duty, ensuring safe and effective patient services, • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow quality, accuracy, and compliance, • Review and verify prescription orders, ensuring correct product selection, dosing, and patient‑specific appropriateness, • Conduct initial patient assessments, disease‑specific evaluations, and refill consultations as required, • Deliver evidence‑based, cost‑effective medication therapy in accordance with FDA guidelines, manufacturer requirements, and LUX Infusion policies, • Ensure appropriate patient education materials are provided and documented, • Maintain compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC, The Joint Commission), and internal quality programs, • Participate in quality assurance activities and audits as requested, • A strong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and ethical pharmacy practice, • Clear, professional communication with patients, technicians, and healthcare partners, • Confidence working independently while collaborating with pharmacy staff, • Strong decision‑making skills in fast‑paced or high‑responsibility environments, • Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE‑accredited School of Pharmacy, • Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state noted in the posting, • Experience providing high‑quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders Here, you'll find: • Purpose‑driven clinical work with real patient impact, • A patient‑first, clinician‑led culture, • Supportive pharmacy teams and clear operational standards, • Flexibility through a part‑time relief structure While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee may also be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
