Job Description Job Summary: The fill technician assists the pharmacist in the preparation, packaging, and fulfillment of compounded medication orders, maintaining the compounded preparation and supply inventory, and maintaining patient and pharmacy records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures. Job Activities and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are subject to change. • Maintain a knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures, • Packing and fulfilling patient-specific compounded prescription orders, • Pre-packaging of compounded preparations for dispensing, • Maintain device and compounding supply inventory, • Assist in managing and reporting stock of compounded preparations, • Communicate with staff, patients, and/or providers regarding shortages/backorders, delays, and/or non-clinical clarifications, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Must be licensed by the State you are applying to work in as a Registered Pharmacy Technician, • Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
