Job Description Maintenance Technician – CNC & Precision Manufacturing Environment ALL SHIFTS We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment, supporting the performance and reliability of CNC machinery, mechanical assembly equipment, and critical facility systems. This role is essential to minimizing unplanned equipment downtime, ensuring adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, and driving continuous improvement across the production floor. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in industrial equipment maintenance, particularly within CNC machining centers, and demonstrate solid expertise in electrical systems, mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems used in aerospace and defense manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: * Execute preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on CNC mills, CNC lathes, multi-axis machines, and other precision equipment. * Troubleshoot and resolve faults in PLC controls, electrical systems, hydraulic units, pneumatics, and machine alignment. * Respond promptly to equipment downtime events, ensuring minimal disruption to production teams. * Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production supervisors to coordinate machine availability and repair timelines. * Maintain accurate maintenance logs, PM schedules, and repair records using a CMMS system. * Assist with machine installations, equipment moves, and overall facility improvements. * Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and comply with OSHA and internal safety standards. * Support calibration schedules and coordinate with external vendors for service and parts replacement. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving machine reliability, energy efficiency, and safety enhancements. * Conduct and support root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement corrective actions. Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a CNC machining or industrial manufacturing setting. * Strong proficiency in CNC equipment maintenance, including Fanuc, Mazak, or Siemens-controlled machines. * Ability to diagnose and repair issues in electrical panels, sensors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. * Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals. * Familiar with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and OSHA safety regulations. * Experienced with CMMS systems, preventive maintenance planning, and spare parts management. * Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. * Forklift certification, scissor lift operation, and basic fabrication or welding skills are a plus. * Willingness to work second shift, weekends, or participate in on-call rotations as needed.
